The dark forest and the high mountains, as mystical as the legends and stories of the people. A place for mythical creatures, unfortunate coincidences and protective forest spirits. However, modern society naturally brings many new challenges. The Bhuula is a half-forgotten forest spirit that has been plagued by the changing times. He tries to do his job to protect the forest and the Alps as best he can, but winter and mountain tourism and the ongoing destruction of the environment do not make it easy for him.
Der Alpen Bhuula is a Comic Semesterproject 2021 from Universität der Künste Berlin. We learned to create our own charakters and a lot about storytelling. My comic is in german and austrian dialekt, which portrais the regionality.
